The inaugural semester of the first year at Riga Technical University (RTU) is conducted in Sri Lanka, hosted at the REC premises in Nugeoda. This program is meticulously overseen and guided by the faculty and directives of Riga Technical University. It encompasses a blend of local and international lecturers, adhering to the comprehensive syllabus set forth by the university.

The courses will be delivered by a distinguished and highly specialized group of instructors, both from abroad and locally. Our panel of educators includes full-time faculty members as well as visiting lecturers who are actively engaged in their respective Academic Fields, with a significant number holding senior professorships and esteemed professional positions. Oversight of the academic program is jointly managed by the Academic Council in collaboration with the International Department of RTU and Grand Royal Education.
The two major examinations, namely the midterm and final assessments, will be administered by RTU with close supervision from university officials. These officials will travel to Sri Lanka to oversee the examination process, and the evaluation of the examination papers will be carried out by the university itself.
